Length of stay

The minimum stay we offer is 2 nights.

Lodge Configuration

Both lodges are spacious studios with their kitchenettes located at one end of each studio. Each lodge has its own en-suite bathroom. The two lodges are in the same building with their own entrances.  There is not a connecting door between the two lodges.

Beds

Both lodges sleep two people and can be made up as twins or doubles.

​

Kitchenettes

The kitchenettes are well equipped for short-stays, with good sized fridges, induction hobs and microwave-ovens. Please note, they do not have washing machines or dishwashers.

Disabled access

Heron Lodge has a set of 4 steps leading up to it and so is not suitable for disabled access. Egret Lodge is suitable for disabled access up a gentle ramp and it has a large 'easy access' shower.

Parking

We have parking for up to 2 cars per lodge.

​

Garden

Guests are free to use the spacious garden which is shared by the two lodges. Whilst, most of the time, you will have the garden to yourselves, from time-to-time we will be there with friends, or to access outbuildings located within the garden.

Check In

Check in is from 4pm

​

Check Out

Check out is by 10.30am

Cancellation

A 50% payment is required at the point of booking, with the balance due 7 days before arrival.

For reservations, booked at less than 7 days notice, 100% payment is required at the time of booking.

Under normal circumstances, our cancellation policy is:

- Up to 14 days before - 100% refund

- Up to 7 days before - 50% refund

- Less than 7 days - full amount payable, unless for exceptional circumstances.

If Covid travel restrictions are imposed after booking that prevent visiting, then a refund will be made in full

​

Children

Due to the proximity to the river, we do not accept children under the age of 12 years old.

​

Pets

Regrettably, we do not permit pets. 

​

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the lodges.

​

Fishing

We do not own fishing rights. Fishing is available to book on the nearby beats.

​

Swimming

Swimming in the river is not permitted from the garden but it is possible to swim downstream, a 5 minute walk away

We have high speed complementary wifi on site
